Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 11, 2026

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Harish Gopalani, the operator of Golden Ratio Flow (“we,” “us,” or “our”), handles information in connection with the Golden Ratio Flow mobile application and website.

We respect your privacy and aim to collect only the information reasonably necessary to operate, maintain, secure, and improve the App and its subscription services.

This policy explains what information may be processed, why it is processed, who may receive it, how long it may be retained, and how you can contact us about your privacy.

2. Information we may process

The information processed depends on how you use the App, the services enabled in the version you install, and your interactions with Apple and other service providers.

A. App identifiers and subscription access

The App may use an anonymous or pseudonymous identifier to associate your installation or app activity with subscription access and backend services.

This may include:

  • An anonymous app or customer identifier.

  • A subscription or entitlement status.

  • Information needed to determine whether premium audio is available.

  • Purchase-related identifiers or transaction status supplied by Apple or RevenueCat.

The App does not require you to create a conventional account with a username and password for its core listening experience, based on its current design.

However, an anonymous identifier can still constitute personal data if it can reasonably be linked to an individual or device. We treat such information with appropriate care.

B. Purchase and subscription information

If you purchase a subscription, Apple processes the App Store transaction. RevenueCat may process subscription-related information to help us manage subscription status and entitlements.

Depending on the transaction and service configuration, this may include:

  • Product and subscription identifiers.

  • Purchase, renewal, expiration, cancellation, or refund status.

  • Transaction-related identifiers.

  • Subscription start and end dates.

  • Information needed to restore purchases or verify premium access.

We do not receive your full Apple Account password or full payment-card number through the App's ordinary subscription flow.

Apple and RevenueCat process information under their respective privacy practices and applicable agreements.

C. Listening and App activity

The App may process information necessary to provide the listening experience, such as the selected audio, playback state, enabled Nature Mix layers, or subscription-gated feature access.

We do not intend to claim that this information is collected centrally or used for analytics unless the production implementation actually does so. The information retained by the App or transmitted to our services depends on the features and technical configuration in the released version.

We will update this policy if we introduce additional activity analytics or other material data collection.

D. Technical and diagnostic information

When you use the App or contact us for help, technical information may be processed to maintain security, troubleshoot errors, and support the service.

Depending on the services and infrastructure in use, this may include request timestamps, error details, application or operating-system information, and server logs. Network services may also process IP addresses as part of ordinary communication and security operations.

The precise information retained depends on the configuration and retention settings of the relevant services.

E. Information you provide to support

If you email us, we receive the information you choose to provide, such as your email address, message, and any details needed to investigate your issue.

Please do not send passwords, full payment-card details, or unnecessary sensitive personal information.

3. How we use information

We may process relevant information for the following purposes:

  • To provide audio playback and app functionality.

  • To determine subscription eligibility and premium access.

  • To support purchases, renewals, cancellations, and restoration of purchases.

  • To operate and secure the App and its backend services.

  • To troubleshoot technical problems and respond to support requests.

  • To prevent misuse, fraud, unauthorized access, or subscription abuse.

  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use.

  • To maintain records and resolve disputes where reasonably necessary.

We will not use personal information for a materially different purpose without an appropriate legal basis and, where required, additional notice or consent.

4. Third-party services

Golden Ratio Flow relies on service providers to support certain functions. The providers and their roles may include the following.

Apple App Store

Apple handles App Store distribution and in-app purchases. Apple may process purchase and account information under Apple's own policies.

Privacy policy: https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/

RevenueCat

RevenueCat supports subscription management, purchase validation, and entitlement status. It may process subscription-related identifiers and transaction information needed to provide these services.

Privacy policy: https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy/

Supabase

Supabase provides backend infrastructure that may support database operations, subscription-event processing, and protected audio delivery. Information processed depends on our actual database, function, logging, and storage configuration.

Privacy information: https://supabase.com/privacy

These providers may process information on our behalf or in their own roles, as applicable. They may use service providers of their own to deliver their services.

We do not claim that these are the only services involved in the production App. If we add analytics, crash reporting, advertising, customer-support, or other SDKs, this policy and the App Store privacy disclosures must be updated as appropriate.

5. Advertising and tracking

This policy does not represent that the App uses third-party advertising or cross-app tracking.

Whether the App contains analytics, advertising SDKs, tracking technologies, or other data-sharing mechanisms must be confirmed against the actual production build and its dependencies.

If such technologies are introduced, we will update this policy and provide any consent, permission prompts, or disclosures required by applicable law and Apple's rules.

6. How we share information

We may share relevant information with:

  • Service providers, such as Apple, RevenueCat, and Supabase, to operate the App and subscription system.

  • Professional advisers, where reasonably necessary for legal, accounting, security, or compliance purposes.

  • Authorities or other parties, when required by law, a valid legal process, or necessary to protect rights, safety, and security.

  • A successor organisation, if the App or related business is transferred, subject to applicable law and appropriate safeguards.

We do not sell personal information for money.

We do not represent that no information is ever shared with third parties: sharing with infrastructure and subscription providers is part of operating the service.

7. Data retention

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including operating subscriptions, providing support, maintaining security, meeting legal obligations, and resolving disputes.

Retention periods vary by data type and service provider.

For example, subscription-related records may need to be retained to reconcile transactions or prevent unauthorized premium access. Technical logs may be retained according to the relevant service configuration.

When information is no longer needed, we will take reasonable steps to delete it or de-identify it, subject to legal, security, and operational requirements.

8. Data security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration.

No system or method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

You should keep your device and operating system reasonably up to date and avoid sharing access to your device or Apple Account with others.

9. Your privacy rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to:

  • Request access to personal information concerning you.

  • Request correction of inaccurate information.

  • Request deletion or erasure.

  • Object to or restrict certain processing.

  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

  • Request information about how your personal information is handled.

  • Complain to an appropriate data-protection or regulatory authority.

These rights are subject to applicable legal conditions and exceptions.

To make a privacy request, email support@goldenratioflow.com using the subject line “Privacy Request — Golden Ratio Flow.”

Please describe your request and provide enough information for us to identify the relevant records. We may ask for proportionate information to verify the request, but we will not ask you to send your password or full payment-card details.

We aim to acknowledge privacy requests within 7 business days and respond as soon as reasonably practicable, subject to any shorter or otherwise applicable legal deadlines.

10. Deletion requests

If you want us to delete personal information associated with your use of Golden Ratio Flow, email support@goldenratioflow.com with the subject line “Data Deletion Request.”

Because the App may use anonymous identifiers rather than a conventional account, you may need to provide the relevant app identifier or other reasonable information to help us locate the associated data. Do not include unnecessary sensitive information.

We will review the request, delete or de-identify eligible information where required, and explain if any information must be retained for legal, security, transaction, or other legitimate purposes.

Deleting the App from your device does not necessarily delete server-side records and does not cancel an active Apple subscription. Manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple Account.

If you have an active subscription, cancelling it and requesting data deletion are separate processes.

11. International data processing

Our service providers may process information in countries other than your country of residence, depending on their infrastructure and service configuration.

Where personal information is transferred internationally, we will take steps required by applicable law, which may include appropriate contractual or other safeguards.

The exact processing locations depend on the configurations and terms of the relevant providers.

12. Children's privacy

Golden Ratio Flow is not specifically directed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly seek to collect children's personal information in violation of applicable law.

If you believe a child has provided personal information to us in circumstances where collection was not appropriate, contact support@goldenratioflow.com. We will assess the request and take appropriate action as required by law.

13. Privacy in India

We aim to handle personal information in accordance with applicable Indian law, including applicable requirements under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and the rules and provisions that are in force and apply to our processing.

Depending on the circumstances, applicable law may provide rights relating to notice, consent, access to information, correction, erasure, grievance redressal, or other matters.

You may contact support@goldenratioflow.com with privacy questions or complaints. This does not limit any rights you may have to approach a competent authority under applicable law.

14. Third-party websites

Our website or the App may contain links to third-party websites or services. Those services have their own privacy policies and practices.

We are not responsible for the privacy practices of websites or services that we do not operate. We encourage you to review their policies before providing personal information.

15. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the App, our service providers, our data practices, or applicable law changes.

We will publish the revised version on this page and update the effective date. Where required by law, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent before implementing a material change.

We encourage you to review this page periodically.
